New developments in digital photography and IP Video (or Network Cameras) have changed the way the CCTV industry works. IP CCTV solutions come into their own when used with megapixel cameras. This lets you zoom into detailed images after recording. Traditional analogue is limited in this way and distorts recorded images when they’re zoomed in. Paired with IP Access Control systems you can ensure robust security for your buildings.

These cameras are attached to your computer network and powered through it, saving you money on electrical installation costs, speeding up installation, and providing you with excellent storage facilities.

If you have multiple sites to cover or want to do funky things like draw trip wires that trigger recording and/or alarms and shout at people from speakers attached to your computer network from miles away, then IP is for you. We have VMS (Video Management System) and some great analytics features from all the main players; Hikvision, Axis, Milestone, Mobotix, Netgenium and many, many more.

The world of IP CCTV is evolving rapidly and choosing a technology partner that can help you cut through the thousands of products is extremely important and that’s what we’re here for. Access Control

Access Control has completely changed since the introduction of IP technology. Gone are the days of having to issue multiple keys to people and keep track of them.

Using IP technology it’s now possible to keep your buildings secure by using fobs or cards to allow entry, and you can also control people’s entry and exit on certain days, and different doors, creating a truly secure and flexible access system.

If cards or fobs get lost, they are inexpensive and secure to cancel and replace, and you don’t have to worry about keys going missing.

An IP Access Control system enables you to track time and attendance within buildings and in case of any security breaches you can see who has come in or out of your buildings by identifying card or fob owners.

The system links to your fire system to disable door security in the event of an emergency, to ensure that you and your users are safe.

We usually partner with Paxton for their range of IP Access Control products, however we are also familiar with other systems and their integrations with your existing software.

The installation of the replacement CCTV was completed with minimal issues. Everything from the cabling to the final configuration of the cameras was completed professionally and on schedule. This has enable key staff to view live footage on their iPads while in school on the move.
