Microsoft 365 price increase from 1st July 2026

Effective 1st July, Microsoft 365 are significantly increasing their pricing for commercial and enterprise subscriptions. The price hike ranging from 5% to 33% depending which plan you are on.

The Cause of the price increase

The pricing adjustments are driven by the integration of advanced features into the suites including Intune, Defender and CoPilot chat.

Key Price Increase Details

The key licences that our Clients use that will see the impact are:

Business Basic - approx 16% increase
Business Standard - approx 12% increase
Business Premium - expected to remain unchanged

What can you do?

Review your renewal dates: See what licences are renewing after 1st July to anticipate the licence cost increase.

Licence Audit: Conduct regular licence audits and remove unused licences before your current term ends. Depending which subscription you have, this may only be able to be done at the end of the annual term.

The installation of the replacement CCTV was completed with minimal issues. Everything from the cabling to the final configuration of the cameras was completed professionally and on schedule. This has enable key staff to view live footage on their iPads while in school on the move. The improvement to after school hours has been night and day.
