Office 365 ProPlus Users – Bing to become the default search engine on Google Chrome

When the new 2002 version of Office ProPlus is released between the middle of February and March, an extension for Microsoft Search in Bing will be added to Google Chrome. This will install on new installations of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus or when installations of Office 365 ProPlus are upgraded. If Bing is already you default Search Engine, the extension will not be installed. There are on/off toggles to disable this feature or you can remove the extension on individual devices. On/off Toggle If you decide you want to stop using Bing as your default search engine, you can click on the magnifying glass icon next to the address bar in Google Chrome and click Use Bing as your default search engine option to the Off position. Remove extension You can remove the extension through the Control Panel if you are a local administrator. To remove the extension on your device: Go to Control Panel Click on Programs and then Programs and Features Under the list of installed programs, right-click on DefaultPackPC and choose Uninstall. On Windows 10 you can remove it from Apps.
